“You and We” is a performance exploring family configurations and examining conflicts that arise among individuals while highlighting their colorful interdependencies. Three performers wearing all white enter the stage, unfold a blanket, and lay it on the ground. Each performer grabs an object (a pack of stickers, a bag of balloons, and a paint and brush) and begins to interact with it separately while walking back and forth in one direction. As they slowly interact and bump into one another, each leaves traces of their presence, eventually coming to a head when they all grab the bag of balloons and rip it. They all reach down to grab it, instead holding hands and begin the ambivalent transition of reconciliation - from spinning in a circle, tugging one another, tenderly embracing, and laying beside one another. The performance ends with the performers grabbing the blanket and showing the residue and what remained to the audience.
